On June 7, 2016, under the patronage of His Excellency the Ambassador of France Gérard Araud, the Aschiana Foundation held its Annual Fundraising Event at the Embassy of France.
This event honored General John F. Campbell, USA (Ret.), former U.S. Forces-Afghanistan Commander and the NATO Resolute Support Commander in Afghanistan, and Ms. Shinkai Karokhail, member of the Afghan Parliament and a longtime activist for women’s rights, education, and conflict prevention.
