Aschiana hosted a book talk and signing with Nadia Hashimi, internationally best-selling author of “The Pearl that Broke Its Shell” and “When The Moon Is Low.”
On June 7, 2016, the Aschiana Foundation held its Annual Fundraising Event at the Embassy of France. This event honored General John F. Campbell, USA (Ret.), former U.S. Forces-Afghanistan Commander and the NATO Resolute Support Commander in Afghanistan, and Ms. Shinkai Karokhail, member of the Afghan Parliament.
